Academic Success Coaching is a resource for our adult undergraduate and graduate students that is designed to provide you with the opportunity to build a relationship with your coach for the purpose of planning your educational career, 学习学业成功所需的技能, and learning how to access the resources and services that are available to you on campus.

Academic Success Coaching is a collaborative educational process where you and your coach are partners in meeting and ensuring your academic, 个人和职业目标. This partnership requires proactive participation and frequent involvement by both parties. This partnership is a process that is built over your entire educational career at 大学的朋友. Both parties have clear responsibilities for ensuring that this partnership is successful. However, please understand that your coach will not make decisions for you. Coaches will help you develop realistic educational and career goals based on the most accurate and current information available.

The standards and values of the coaching staff are derived from the mission of 大学的朋友 and align with the core values of academic advising set forth by the National Academic Advising Association (NACADA).

Lacey Tisdale -学业成功教练
Lacey Tisdale joined 大学的朋友 with an administrative background in arts non-profit work. She earned her BFA in Ballet Performance and BA in Spanish Language and Culture at the University of Oklahoma and is passionate about finding creative solutions to support adult and graduate students in their time at 朋友.

Chloe Pospisil attended 威奇托 State University obtaining a Bachelor of Arts as an adult student. Melissa Cummings has been with 大学的朋友 since January 2002 and has worked in Higher Education for over 20 years. - Treat you with respect and with the understanding that you are a professional, working adult with all the responsibilities and commitments that come with that title.

- Maintain confidentiality (will not discuss issues with parents or non-university persons without written permission).

- Schedule regular appointments or make regular contacts with your assigned success coach each semester.
- Come prepared to each appointment or walk-in with questions or materials for discussion.

- Clarify personal values and goals with your success coach with accurate and truthful information regarding your interests and abilities.
