我的第一专业可能会决定我做什么, but the CSF program will continue to develop how I do it and the kind of person I become.

I am glad that I took the leap to get my Master’s degree from 大学的朋友. The assignments, discussions, and content I am learning pertains to the everyday classroom. My professors are knowledgeable and strive to meet the needs of the teachers they are educating. It is crazy to think I will have my Master’s degree in one year’s time. 我迫不及待地想看看我的旅程会带我去哪里!

毕业后, I did get the chance to move into the HR manager role at the Newton Medical Center from 2013 – 2017. Fortunately, that career growth and experience led me to my new position with 堪萨斯 Spine & Specialty Hospital in August 2017 as the new HR Manager of a great organization in 威奇托.

I think the positive 基督教 environment and role models at 大学的朋友 make for a great educational experience and exhibit a family and caring atmosphere that have helped me throughout my career.

What really impressed and surprised me is what the program taught me about community and how we go about growing in community – it’s Jesus’ idea for the way we should live.

What was it like to be a student during the first few years at 大学的朋友? Many of the conveniences students enjoy now were lacking 125 years ago.

One of my biggest frustrations is completing work that I don’t think I will ever need later in life – “busy work”. 有了这个程序, 基本上，一切都是直接适用的, because the assignments were flexible enough to directly fit into my current teaching.

MBA课程非常容易管理. I have a family, a demanding job, a home to take care of, friends to keep up with etc. and my program didn’t place strain on any of those; it wasn’t easy, but definitely manageable.

I’m not surprised that 大学的朋友 is called one of the best colleges in the nation for adult learners. It’s a great university surrounded with good people who really want you to get to your final goals. Whatever you want to achieve in life, they’ll help you get there.

大学的朋友 is a close knit school that will look for ways to assist anyone with a desire to achieve their dream of a higher education like me.

When I became interested in 基督教 Studies the faculty of the religion department were welcoming and warm. They taught not only about what the word of God says but more importantly how to live a Christ filled life…. The skills I mastered at 朋友 go far beyond what I could write in this short statement but it’s safe to say were it not for 大学的朋友 and most importantly the people at 大学的朋友 I would certainly not be a physician here in 威奇托.

作为一名鹰级童子军，我学会了回馈社会. So becoming a student at 朋友 became an opportunity for me to not only become better educated, but also to lead others in the community as I have been so blessed to receive.

大学的朋友 is a place where a person can gain an understanding of people from different backgrounds, and I felt that was important for my studies and to help me grow as a person.

My education has been a building block for everything I have done. Relationships I built, skill sets I learned and the wealth of knowledge has been priceless.

My definition of leadership would be motivating other people to do really hard things, 同时保持快乐. I think that the joy piece to me, as I’ve grown in leadership, is the most important part. So, to me Leadership is being a joyful person that people want to follow and do difficult work.

我坚信我们就是我们的环境. 大学的朋友 provided a perfect environment with all of the necessities to promote growth and ensure success.
